The Association aims to generate in Italy the scientific and cultural exchanges in the field of architecture and dynamics of urban development, to promote and organize competitions of architecture on thematics connected to towns' and housing's themes, and to promote the implementation of the projects winning the architecture competitions organized by the association.

To achieve its institutional goal, the Association:

	promotes and co-ordinates studies, researches, workshops, exhibitions and international exchanges in the mentioned subjects;
	promotes European competitions of architecture, in particular that one named Europan, by coordinating through the European organizations having the same aims;
	promotes and encourages the local initiatives for the diffusion of the competitions' results;
	gives, if requested, its assistance to the Municipalities and/or the private promoters of the winner projects' implementations for the final realization of programs and search for financing;
	assists, if requested, the winners of competitions in their relations with the clients of the implementation.
