| Conurbation
The town has the widest fenced urban park in Europe. It occupies
an area of 800 ha partially cultivated, partially at woods and glades,
crossed by the river Lambro. Besides Villa Reale, inside there are
patrician villas, farms and mills which represent, today, important
evidencies of the rural architecture in Lombardia.
The town has developped in a different way. At North and North-East
the presence of the park has influenced the building architectural
quality, while industrial activities and residential typologies
of the 60's and 70's are concentrated at South and South-East.
