| Social issues
The area has grown up without public spaces, services and adequate
urbanizations, with unorganized housing mixed in shapes and functions,
typical of periphery, with a high level of physical-functional,
social and environmental decay.
Functional issues
The actual uses are rather different: boats garaging, small unstable
structures for fishing, vegetable and flower gardens, uncultivated
grounds, illegal buildings, deposits, sports facilities, pits, small
illegal dumps, etc.
Perceptual issues
The old incinerator building, now in progressive state of physical
decay, is inserted into a space where natural elements coexist with
anthropical elements (road junctions and viaducts, large production
plants, etc). |
