Implementations policies

The project will be implemented by resources available for the Urban II programme, financed by the European Union, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Abruzzo Region and Pescara Municipality. The interventions planned in the Urban II programme foresee a total cost of 12.250.000 euros. Such resources will not be used only to realize works of physical nature; in fact, the program foresees the implementation of interventions of social-welfare and employment nature. The amount planned to improve the area of the Municipal old incinerator is of 1.300.000 euros. Works must be accomplished by 2006, year when all Urban 2 programs will end.
